# Welcome To The Albion Online World

The magnificent world of Albion is divided into clusters or zones on the map. The clusters are connected with each other via portals. The world is divided into four types of clusters zones.
Located within some of the map clusters are territories which may be claimed by Guilds. Guilds can fight over these territories for the right to access building plots and resources. ( There are five types of zone in Albion )

- Green
Green starter zones where you can find resources up to T4.  PvP is not allowed.  Minimal risk to the player.
- Green PVP zone rules:
There is no PVP in green zones

- Yellow
Yellow zones are located between green and red zones and classified as Limited PvP.  You need to flag as a hostile, and then you are allowed to attack other players.   Instead of player death, you are only knocked out and drop silver according your equipped item value.  T3-6 resources can be found in Yellow zones.  Moderate risk to the player.
- Yellow PVP zone rules:
You can set yourself to "hostile" using the botton by your portrait
Hostile players can attack and knock down other players
Everyone can see the number of hostile players in the area
Non-hostile players gain a bonus against hostile players
When players are knocked down, some of their equipment's durability is converted into silver and dropped
Knocked down players can get back up, or choose to respawn, leaving their equipment as loot

- Red
Red zones allow PvP and Full Loot. You still are required to flag as a hostile before you can attack other players.  High tier resources can only be found in red zones.  Severe risk to the player, bring friends.
- Red PVP zone rules:
You can set yourself to "hostile" using the button by your portrait
Hostile players can attack and kill other players
When players are killed, their equipment is damaged or destroyed, and can be looted by anyone
Killed players must respawn
Any cluster of more than 10 players will show up on the minimap

- Black
Black zones are the most dangerous, with Full Loot PvP and no Flagging.
- Black PVP zone rules:
All players are hostile
Hostile players can attack and kill other players
When players are killed, their equipment is damaged or destroyed, and can be looted by anyone
Killed players must respawn

- Player Cities
There are several cities scattered throughout the land of Albion.   Cities can be claimed by Guilds and claims can be challenged by others through 20 v 20 player battles.   Cities are filled with land plots for players to place buildings on.    Player buildings are subject to the region tax set by the guild and are limited to T5 or less.   In major cities you can travel to guild and Player Islands for free (if located at that city), or other major cities for a fee.   Auction houses and Repair Stations are also located within the   major cities.
- player city PVP zone rules:
Feel free to duel your friends
